This workshop is ideal for beginners who are interested in learning the basics of photography.
Workshop and Play in Ampthill is pleased to confirm Becky Kerr Photography will be hosting another Photography workshop for us in January 2019.
The class will cover the basic use of an SLR camera or iPhone whilst teaching you about composition, subject matter, location, the time of the day and the best light to get those 'WOW' photographs.
Spring will be just around the corner so why not brush up on your photography skills. Becky will help you capture special moments naturally and accurately, you will learn how to photograph your subject in the best locations. Each photograph will enable you to form that lasting fond memory.
On the day you will learn
Getting to know your SLR camera with expert guidance
Setting your ISO
What the aperture does, what effect you will get from using a wide aperture verse narrow apertures
Understanding speed settings and when to change them
Difference between the manual settings and aperture priority etc.
Becky will also cover editing tools available on your iPhone and make recommendations as to the best editing apps to download.
The class will cover various photographic techniques, which Becky will take you through during the session.
Becky studied photography in Manchester in the 90's and after graduating, she began her career in London working her way up through the ranks at publications with a focus on Lifestyle, Beauty and Weddings.
After 10 years of work for magazines including: Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Marie Claire and Ideal Home Magazine, Becky felt the need to make a change to her life. And BOOM…Becky Kerr Photography was formed. Becky now works predominately in the wedding, portrait and commercial lifestyle sectors and has seen her business flourish as she works all over the home counties, London and even overseas.
