A Harry Potter themed wedding was the inspiration behind Leah and Darren's perfect day as they held an outdoor humanist ceremony in the grounds of a family relative with truly wonderful attention to detail.
And as Leah and Darren rose early to excitedly get ready for their special day, professional Hertfordshire wedding photographer, Becky Kerr, made sure she was there to capture each and every special moment for the happy couple.
Bridal preparations
Whilst Darren got ready where the wedding was being held , Leah went over to her parents' house across the road to join her family and closest friends to share her intimate pre-ceremony preparations. Looking absolutely stunning in her wedding dress accompanied by personalised white converse All Star boots she then made her way to her aunt's nearby home where the beautiful ceremony was held.
Intimate ceremony
Glowing with happiness she held Darren's hands as they exchanged poignant vows during their intimate humanist ceremony, which captured their love for each other in a truly unique and special way.
The happy couple
And once the confetti had been thrown over the radiant couple and the guests had flocked around to congratulate them, the wedding party went off with a bang.
Wedding reception
Each and every possible attention to detail had been made by the Harry Potter loving couple who wanted to make it a very personalised affair by surprising their family and friends with such a unique day.
Beautiful classic venue
Incredibly personalised, a double tepee stood pride and place in the grounds of Leah's aunt home where guests mingled for drinks and a scrumptious Indian banquet. Flowers dotted everywhere, there were so many touching features including a homemade photo booth, fire pits with coloured flames, an incredible sweetie board and fairy lights lovingly made by the groom who had attached a ping-pong to each and every light bulb. Even the table favours stood out with Leah and Darren making their own Harry Potter snitch like favours out of Ferrero Rocher chocolates.
Lifelong wedding reception memories
And as the guests, including one who wore a traditional Austrian costume, danced until the early hours of the morning, Leah and Darren couldn't help but lovingly gaze into each other's eyes as they celebrated the day they became Mr and Mrs in style.
