This workshop is ideal for beginners who are interested in learning the basics of lifestyle photography.
The class will cover the basic use of an SLR camera or iPhone whilst teaching you about composition, subject matter, location, time of the day relevance and the best light to catch those 'WOW' photographs.
Seasonal holidays are the perfect time to catch up with loved ones, reconnect and relax. Becky will help you capture these special moments naturally and accurately whether it's fun on the beach, splashing about in the pool, chilling infront of the fire, family strolls or a romantic sunset moment. Each photograph will enable you to form that lasting fond memory.
You will learn how to photograph your subject in the best locations, the best poses or those even help you spot those natural (they're not looking) moments.
- Getting to know your SLR camera with expert guidance
- Setting your ISO
- What the aperture does, what effect you will get from using a wide aperture verse narrow apertures
- Understanding speed settings and when to change them
- Difference between the manual settings and aperture priority etc.
Becky will also cover editing tools available on your iPhone and make recommendations as to the best editing apps to download.
The class will cover various photographic techniques, which Becky will take you through during the morning / afternoon / evening.
Becky studied photography in Manchester in the 90's and after graduating, she began her career in London working her way up through the ranks at publications with a focus on Lifestyle, Beauty and Weddings.
After 10 years od working with maggazines including: Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Marie Claire and Ideal Home Magazine, Becky felt the need to make a change to her life. And BOOM…Becky Kerr Photography was formed. Becky now works predominately in the wedding, portrait and commercial lifestyle sectors and has seen her business flourish as she works all over the home counties, London and even overseas.
