I love photographing commercial work. It's such a great way for me to meet new clients and explore more deeply what their assets are and endeavour to reflect these with images. I often visit the Hide in Ampthill for a coffee & sometimes delicious breakfast or lunch with my husband, black lab Coco and kids who adore the Hot Chocolate served there ! In the evening, it's a charming, intimate venue for a few glasses of bubbles & catch up with friends. I was delighted when they asked me to photograph some before and after shots of their newly fitted bar.
It is such a beautiful, ideally located, rustic venue, but the bar area was not allowing the owners to work to their full potential.As well as a new bar, the venue was having a makeover too, with lots of new yummy dishes they were keen to have photographed,so they could show the public on their social media platforms. As well as my work being on their Instagram feed, they have also displayed some of my photographs in the lounge area.
